IEP Training Session (School-based)

This event will provide a review of the quality indicates of school based OT practice and strategies for making those visible within the IEP (within the new IEP system).  

Presenter Bio: Dr. Angela Vaughn joined the Indiana Department of Education - Office of Special Education in 2021 and served as the Assistant Director of Monitoring and Compliance before transitioning to an IDOE contractor in 2024. Prior to that, Angela has enjoyed a 30 year career as an Occupational Therapist, Special Education Consultant and Administrator. 

At the end of this presentation participants will be able to: 

• Participants will utilize indicators of school based OT to appraise the quality of their practice.

• Participants will integrate the practices into the development of IEPs.
